You will find out about The Wedding that Wasn’t, The Editor Arrested for Criminal Libel and Assaulted by Crawford County’s Prosecuting Attorney, Automobile Accidents, and Fiery Fatalities! The Bucyrus community and Bucyrus Historical Society members are invited to attend our Open Meeting on Thursday, May 22, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Deb Hoover, Bucyrus author of The Doll That Built a Church, will present “Ohio Originals: Presbyterian Dolls and the Bucyrus Artisans Who Created Them.”  Lyle Gebhardt will be honored for more than 55 years of service as an original charter member of the Bucyrus Historical Society.  Light refreshments will be served.

Bucyrus Historical Society will partner as a member group with the Crawford County History Alliance for the Rotary Club's 2025 Auctionfest. Tickets are being sold and donations accepted.

Visit during our Scroggs Grogg event:

Mike Dostal visits the Scroggs House Museum to present the history of the Dostal Brewery and beer making in Bucyrus. Also featuring a temporary display about Georgia Hopley and the Temperance Movement.

Visitors will receive a voucher for “Scroggs Grogg”, a pre prohibition lager, at Arrogant Goat Brewing (125A E Rensselaer St, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
